Responsibilities:
• Work with management across teams to define the scope of functionality that will be included in a release
• Create and maintain the release schedule and work plans
• Track the release and its key milestones through the development and deployment lifecycle
• Monitor and report on release status, health and risks
• Track and communicate changes to the release scope
• Schedule and orchestrate the production release deployment
• Shared testing environment coordination
• Meeting facilitation
• Evaluate the quality of a release and its processes after the release is completed
• Documenting and maintaining the release processes and working with the IT and business teams to identify and implement process improvements and changes
• Working with other teams to measure, monitor and communicate quality of the release
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years project management and/or release management experience
• Must have proven experience in change management
• Must have displayed leadership and team centric skills and strong solution orientation and communication
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
• Solid knowledge of release management
• Bachelor's degree
Qualified applicants must also possess the following skills/competencies:
• Experience in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Rational tools including ClearQuest
• Experience in software development project management
• Solid knowledge of process development
• Solid knowledge quality metrics and tracking
• Solid knowledge of resource management and tracking
