Primary Function
The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of multiple, enterprise level projects and/or programs through the project lifecycle. The Sr. PM is responsible to define and deliver within the agreed budget, scope and timelines and manages issues and risks through the project lifecycle. The Sr. PM is responsible for articulating project status and managing expectations. The Sr. PM will work collaboratively with functional business areas to achieve agreed project objectives, milestones and deliverables and ensure implemented solutions are of quality. The Sr. PM is responsible for actively participating as a role model and advising / coaching the work of other Project Leader and PM team members or deep technical/subject matter expertise. This role also assists with developing, delivering and training others on the Project Management Discipline.Job
Responsibilities and Activities
· Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
· Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
· Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
· Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to customers.
· Effectively applies project methodology and enforces project standards.
· Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
· Minimizes exposure and risk on project and ensures appropriately action.
· Manages, resolves and escalates, as appropriate, issues to ensure high quality deliverables
· Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
· Manages project budget and tracks team hours and expenses.
· Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
· Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization

Job Requirements
Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.
- 8-10 years relevant work experience
- Preferred work experience in project management
· Preferred PMP certification
· Experience with portfolio and program management of projects
· Ability to handle large multiple projects or programs concurrently
· Demonstrates deep functional/technical expertise or people coaching/mentoring abilities
· Must have excellent public speaking and presentation skills
· Ability to follow a project methodology
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
Physical Requirements
· Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
· Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
· Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
· Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
· Travel may be required up to 20% of the time
