This position is responsible to provide .NET development expertise for varous Microsoft (MS) platforms including Sharepoint and SQL Server. In addition, the Develobear will define, suggest and implement process improvements; estimate, scope and deliver solutions to support production processes and support and maintain custom applications.
Specifically, the principal accountabilities for this position include acting as the main developer and point of contact for custom-built production applications, defining, suggesting and implementing process improvements and best practices using Microsoft methodologies and platforms, implementing and maintaining company development standards and best practices, researching new technologies and recommending applications using MS technologies and providing expertise in development processes and applications that leverage the MOSS 2007/2010 framework.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering or a related field and at least three years of directly related work experience.
Candidates must have proven competency in C#, .NET Framework, SSIS, Subversion and MS SharePoint Services, strong analytical skills, demonstrated attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Prior retail industry experience is a plus!
