JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main responsibilities of this position entail managing other developers, driving projects, designing, developing and reviewing of code, testing, documenting, and supporting the applications.  The individual should also be able to manage and collaborate with teams; external, internal, abroad, and domestic requiring excellent communication and management skills.  The individual should be willing to learn new technologies, improve upon existing skills, and to offer guidance to other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field. 

·         Demonstrated technical leadership experience.

SKILLS:

·         10+ years of Java / J2EE (Enterprise, XML, etc ) experience with application design and development. 

·         Experience leading teams through the software development lifecycle.

·         Experience working on large scale, multi-tier distributed systems

·         Languages and Tools: Java/J2EE (including Servlets, JSP, JMS, JDBC, Web Services, Hibernate, iBATIS, Spring, Struts/JSF and WebFlow frameworks), XML and XML Schema, Apache Ant, Apache Maven, JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, SQL, and Web 2.0

·         Operating Systems: Unix (Linux, Solaris), Windows

·         Application Servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat

·         Middleware: Should know Oracle Fusion Middleware (10g, 11 preferred – should have a 5+ years total experience)

·         Oracle Rules

·         Oracle SOA

·         Oracle OBIEE a plus

·         WebSphere MQ

·         Web Services: SOAP

·         Must have good writing and oral communication skills.
