Sr Project Manager (2 positions)
 

We seek a Project Manager to lead business process improvement projects ranging from one month in duration to one year.

The PMs will follow a PM life cycle that has been modified for corporate business projects and will report to Sr. Project Manager.

Following qualities are important:

  •  Must be able to drive projects tactfully but strongly
  •  This is a new process for our business, candidates must be able to educate and be sales people for Project Management
  •  Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be flexible in proces
  •  Analytical skills are helpful as all of these projects are analytical
  •  Prior Business Analyst experience helpful  

 High level Process

·         Fine tune Charters

  • Conduct kickoff meeting
  • Identify major milestones and create high level timeline
  • Create and maintain Project Plan
  • Facilitate and scribe all meetings publishing notes, decisions, action items and follow up on action items.
  • Control scope
  • Hold team status meetings
  •   Identify risks and issues as they arise
  • Monitor progress and provide status to me and team
  •  Drive projects and escalate as needed
  • Maintain archive of documents
  • Close project

This is a contract position that will last 6-12 months.  The potential start date is 8/3/10.
