Page Content Position Accountabilities
- Assures effective and accurate analysis, design, and development of systems that meet specifications and requirements of project and overall business needs by or through:
- A broader, deeper knowledge of the inner workings of multiple departments
- Working on larger scale projects
- Project/people leadership (will vary by project)
- Assures application development delivers the desired functionality within the estimated timeframe and strives to improve the processes
- Assures effective customer service to resolve issues swiftly and accurately to meet customer needs
- Assures accurate development of applications and systems to support the environment that will provide up-to-date information to all areas and levels of the company.
- Assures timely completion of all assigned IS projects within the project guidelines mutually agreed upon with IS Management and that the results are of a consistently high quality that meet the business needs

- Motivating and inspiring team to achieve their highest potential
- Providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback
- Providing the opportunities and tools direct reports need to grow and gain the skills and knowledge needed to realize their potential
- Attracting talent and selecting high caliber people of diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences from both inside and outside of the organization
- Delegating authority and encouraging staff to take calculated risks
- Adapting style to capitalize on different talent
- Assures effective management of change to reach functional and organizational goals by:
- Translating operating plans into understandable and executable goals
- Proactively developing inter-functional and intra-divisional relationships
- Demonstrating creativity by breaking norms and generating ideas
- Replicating successful endeavors and practice
Position Specifications
Educational Preference:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience. Job Experience:
5+ years of business analysis experience within the software development life cycle.
- Ability to mentor junior staff (Preferred)
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Well-organized and able to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous tasks and projects while addressing customer needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Project management experience helpful but not required
- Experience with or exposure to structured Systems Development Life Cycle or iterative development methodology (RUP, Agile, etc.).
Computer Experience:
- Microsoft Applications
- Familiar with complex system languages and application development
- RSA / Eclipse3 / WSAD experience (Preferred)
- iSeries / AS400 Experience (Preferred)
- Capability to do technical mentoring for junior staff (Preferred)
- Object Oriented Design and Development - UML (Preferred)
- SQL, HTML, XML, VBScript, DB2, DB2 SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Java Script, Java Servlet, MQ Messaging, .Net
- Spring/Hibernate/JPA/Struts/Spring Webflow
- Design Patterns
- Spring, Hibernate, Team City, Ant and Maven(Preferred)
